The above two links invoke a sticky popup and use the PRINT command to insert a print link in the popup's caption, or a print button in the popup's text area, so that the DHTML contents of the popup can be sent to a printer via a temporary printing window.

These two examples also use the PRINTJOB command to access an external function instead of the overlibmws internal code for creating the markup for the temporary window, opening the window and passing it the markup, printing the window content, and then closing it.  An external function normally is used when one wishes to modify (e.g., simplify or annotate) the popup content for the printed version.

Use your browser's View Source option to review the markup for this printing mechanism.  It's not too complicated and you can do it yourself once you catch on.  Smile, you're on Candid Camera!!!

Try examples that use the overlibmws internal function for printing.  Also try examples with icons as the PRINTTEXT.  See examples of printable blow-ups for thumbnail image galleries.

This document uses overlibmws and its commands.
